Description

If we could draw the full body of the knight here, that would be a gallop. slightly tilted head,
erect ears resembling two pointed horns, a tousled mane and a parted muzzle indicate that he is in the mood to run
and is probably running right now. This concept is rather rare in chess pieces and makes this model so special.
The set is carefully carved and beautifully polished by skilled Indian artisans.
The black pieces are made of Padauk (Pterocarpus sandalinus), which makes their appearance absolutely mesmerizing.
